Singles Club
Socialization is the name of the game.
We have increased the opportunity for single members to meet and socialize with other single members not only at our club but with thirteen other clubs in the area. We joined interclub and participate in varied activities. We have created a lifestyle that all single members can enjoy.
Our activities include an opening breakfast, theater, restaurants, museums, day trips, golf tournaments, speakers, overnight trips, socials with other clubs, films, historical bus trips, cruise, show time evenings, and many more exciting events.
Women’s Golf Association
An integral part of the Club is the Women's Golf Association. Its members compete every week in tournaments for prizes as well as the Season-Opening and Season-Closing breakfasts, tournaments and gala luncheons. Every golfer, from beginner to low-handicapper, is accommodated.
Men's Golf Association
Golf tournaments are run every Wednesday and golfers are placed in the appropriate flights according to their handicaps and skill levels. The MGA also runs 4 "Major" championships including the Club championship which is run in all flights. We also conduct a summer league where we compete with other neighboring clubs, It's a great way to see other great golf courses and to meet fellow golfers in our area.
Boca Woods Garden Club
A dedicated group meets four times a year, in December, January, February and March. The group replants four containers leading to the rear entrances to the Clubhouse and the large container at the main entrance. One of the most eagerly-awaited programs each year is the flower-arranging clinic. Residents with interest in South Florida gardening are welcome to join the fun.
Bridge
Tuesday night offers Duplicate Bridge at the clubhouse. An ACBL sanctioned game is run by a licensed director and offers master points. Partners can be arranged and outside guests of members are welcome. A member-guest tournament is held once a year with master points and prize's. A small fee is required for each player, Light refreshments are available.
