Aerobic Class Descriptions
Combo Class: This high- energy class includes choreographed aerobic component, light- weights for upper and lower body sculpting and concludes with abdominal and stretching exercises.
Yoga: The ancient discipline of stretching and relaxation balances the mind, body and spirit.
Tone & Shape: This half- hour class, great for beginners, is designed to shape and tone the muscles of the body using a variety of weights, bands and balls.
Weight Class: No music or dancing, this class uses free weights and bands, in a friendly group setting, to strengthen the whole body, including abdominal work and stretching.
Balance Class: Purposely created to prevent falls and improve balance, this class will strengthen the lower body, improving posture and provide educational awareness.
Mat Stretch: Based on principles used in Yoga and Pilates this class offers a full body stretch to improve circulation, prevent injury and improve flexibility.
Body Sculpt: An hour class, using a variety of equipment, is an excellent workout for sculpting the entire body.
Water Aerobics: A mixture of choreographed moves, strengthening exercise with dumbbells and noodle, this class offers all the benefits of an aerobic class on land, without the impact!
Deep Water: This challenging class is done in the deep water with the help of aqua belts for buoyancy. There is more of an opportunity to use combination moves with upper and lower body for a bit more intense exercise.
Men’s Water: The basic water aerobics class, but specifically geared towards men!
